This study is concerned with the best level of psychological presence of educational guides in the General Directorate of Education in Diyala. The level of the guides' psychological presence was measured in terms of some variables (gender, social state, years of service). The sample of the study consisted of 260 male and female guides who were randomly selected from the General Directorate of Education in Diyala. The researcher adopted Ryff's (1998) scale of psychological presence. The validity of the translated version of the scale was ensured. The psychometric properties of the scale were also ensured. The reliability of the scale was calculated in two ways. According to test-retest, the correlation coefficient was (0.82), and according to Alpha Kronbach, it reached (0,872). So the scale was ready to be applied in its Arabic version. The final version of the scale consisted of (34) items. The researcher used suitable statistical tools like the mean, the standard deviation, single-sample t-test, two- independent-sample t-test, Pearson correlation coefficient, the variance analysis, the regression analysis, Z analysis, and the SPSS statistical bag. The findings of the study showed the following: 1) There is no statistically significant difference in the relationship between educational guides in the level of psychological presence according to the social state except for the difference in the relationship according to social situation (married - divorced) and (single - divorced). 2) There is no statistically significant difference in the relationship between educational guides in the best level of psychological presence according to the years of service, except the difference in the relationship between the two service periods (1-10) and (31-40) which was statistically significant. The research ends up with some recommendations and suggestions. (Published abstract)
