يهدف البحث الحالي التعرف: 1) التعرف على أبعاد الاتصال الرقمي في التعليم الجامعي من وجهة نظر طلبة قسمي التاريخ والجغرافية في كليات التربية للعلوم الإنسانية. 2) التعرف على ترتيب أبعاد الاتصال الرقمي بحسب استجابات أفراد عينة البحث. 3) التعرف على دلالة الفروق في استجابات أفراد العينة وبحسب متغير النوع (ذكور - اناث). 4) التعرف على دلالة الفروق في استجابات أفراد العينة وبحسب متغير القسم (التاريخ - الجغرافية). تكون مجتمع البحث من جميع طلبة قسمي التاريخ والجغرافية في كلية التربية للعلوم الإنسانية - الدراسة الصباحية والبالغ عددهم (814) طالبا وطالبة، اختار الباحثان منهم وبالطريقة الطبقية العشوائية (204) طالبا وطالبة وهذا العدد يشكل ما نسبته (25%) من المجتمع الكلي، ولتحقيق أهداف البحث استخدمت الاستبانة لمعرفة أبعاد الاتصال الرقمي في التعليم الجامعي والتي تكونت من (21) فقرة موزعة على ثلاث مجالات هي (الاجتماعي - الثقافي - المعرفي) تم التأكد من صدقها وثباتها، ولاستخراج النتائج فقد استخدمت الرزمة الاحصائية للعلوم الاجتماعية (SPSS) وتوصلت نتائج البحث إلى أن أبعاد الاتصال الرقمي هي ثلاث أبعاد هي (الاجتماعي - الثقافي - المعرفي) وكذلك أظهرت النتائج أن (البعد الاجتماعي) قد حصل على المرتبة الاولى في ترتيب استجابات أفراد العينة بينما حصل (البعد المعرفي) على المرتبة الثانية وكذلك حصل (البعد الثقافي) على المرتبة الثالثة، كذلك أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير النوع (كور - اناث) بينما أظهرت النتائج فروقا ذات دلالة احصائية في متغير القسم (تاريخ - جغرافية) ولصالح طلبة قسم الجغرافية، وفي ضوء النتائج التي تم التوصل إليها وضع الباحثان مجموعة من التوصيات والمقترحات. The present study aims at: 1) estimating the role of digital communication in universities from the point of view of students of history and geography departments, College of Education for Humanities. 2) Knowing the ranking of the domains of digital communication according to responses of the sample of the study. 3) Discovering the differences in the responses of the study sample according to gender variable (male - female). 4) Discovering the differences in the responses of the sample study according to department variable (history - geography). The study sample consists of all students in the departments of history and geography, college of education for humanities, morning study. The sample covers (814) students (male - female). The researchers randomly choose (204) students (male - female), which represent 25% of the whole sample. To achieve the aims of the study, a questionnaire is used to know the domains of digital communication in university learning. The questionnaire consists of (21) items divided into three domains (social, cultural, and gnostic). Results obtained though SPSS for social sciences. Results show that there are three domains for digital communication. They are social, cultural, and gnostic. Results state that the social domain got the first place in ranking the three domains. Gnostic domain got the second place, and the cultural domain has the third place. Results showed no statistical differences according to gender variable (male - female) while there are statistical differences according to department variable (history - geography), and for the sake of geography department students. According to the results the researchers present some recommendations and suggestions. (Published abstract)
