يهدف البحث بصورة أساسية إلى الاستفادة من أبرز ملامح تطبيقات مجتمعات الممارسة في جامعات بعض الدول الأجنبية في وضع إجراءات مقترحة لتطبيق مجتمعات الممارسة بالجامعات المصرية، وبما يتماشى مع طبيعة المجتمع المصري. وفي سبيل تحقيق هذا الهدف استخدم البحث المنهج المقارن، وسار البحث وفق هذا المنهج في مجموعة من الخطوات بدأت بالإطار العام للدراسة، ثم توضيح الأساس الفكري لمجتمعات الممارسة، ثم تناول البحث طبيعة علاقة مجتمعات الممارسة بتطوير الجامعات من خلال توضيح دورها في التنمية المهنية، والتعلم الإلكتروني، وإدارة المعرفة في الجامعات، تلا ذلك عرض أبرز ملامح تطبيقات مجتمعات الممارسة في جامعات بعض الدول الأجنبية، والتحليل المقارن، ثم عرض وتحليل واقع الجهود المصرية المبذولة في تطوير الجامعات في ضوء مفهوم مجتمعات الممارسة، وتضمنت الخطوة الأخيرة الإجراءات المقترحة لتطبيق مجتمعات الممارسة في الجامعات المصرية في ضوء الاستفادة من الإطار الفكري وخبرات جامعات بعض الدول الأجنبية. The main objective of this research is to develop proposed procedures for the Implementation of the communities of practice in Egyptian universities. To achieve this purpose, the research used the comparative approach. The research proceeded according to this approach in a series of steps, starting with the general framework of the study, then clarifying the theoretical basis of communities of practice. The research clarified the nature of the relationship between the communities of practice and the development of universities by clarifying their role in professional development, e-learning, and knowledge management in universities. The research presented the most prominent features of the Implementation of communities of practice in the universities of some foreign countries, and then comparative analysis. Analyzing the reality of Egyptian efforts in developing universities in the light of the concept of communities of practice. The last step included the proposed procedures for the Implementation of communities of practice in Egyptian universities in light of the theoretical framework and the experiences of universities of some foreign countries.
