هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على الأنماط القيادية السائدة لدى مديري المدارس الحكومية الأساسية في عمان من وجهة نظر المعلمين والمعلمات والتعرف على الفروق ذات الدلالة الإحصائية بين آراء المعلمين والمعلمات اتجاه النمط القيادي السائد عند مديري المدارس الأساسية الحكومية في عمان. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (394) معلماً ومعلمة منهم (170) معلماً و(224) معلمة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة قام الباحث باستخدام استبانة تكونت من 29 فقرة موزعة على ثلاث أنماط هي الديمقراطية، الترسلية، التسلطية، وقد تم التأكد من صدقها وثباتها. كشفت النتائج عن سيادة النمط التسلطي بين مديري ومديرات المدارس، يليه النمط الترسلي، ثم النمط الديمقراطي. وبينت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية (0.05=a) تعزي لأثر الجنس في النمط التسلطي وجاءت الفروق لصالح الإناث، بينما لم تظهر فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في باقي الأنماط. The study aimed to identify the prevailing leadership patterns among the principals of the basic government schools in Amman from the point of view of teachers and identify the differences of statistical significance between the views of teachers towards the prevailing leadership pattern among the principals of the basic government schools in Amman. The sample consisted of (394) male and female teachers of them (170) male teachers and (224) female teachers. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used a questionnaire consisting of 29 paragraphs divided into three types: democracy, permissiveness and authoritarianism. The results revealed the dominance of the authoritarian pattern among male principals and female principals of schools followed by the permissiveness style and then the democratic pattern. The results showed statistically significant differences (a=0.05) due to the influence of sex in the dominant pattern. The differences were in favor of females, while there were no statistical differences in other patterns. (Published abstract)
