هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تحديد أثر تدريس محتوى وحدة مقترحة في كيمياء الفيمتو لطلاب المرحلة الثانوية على التحصيل المعرفي والقيم العلمية وقد تم إعداد كتيب الطالب ودليل المعلم لدراسة محتوي الوحدة المقترحة كما أعدت الباحثة أدوات لقياس أثرها على التحصيل المعرفي والقيم العلمية في أبعاد الأمانة العلمية وحب الاستطلاع والمثابرة تقبل النقد وتقدير العلم وجهود العلماء. وكانت من أهم نتائج الدراسة وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطي درجات طلاب مجموعة البحث في درجات التطبيق القبلي والبعدي للاختبار التحصيلي ومقياس القيم العلمية لصالح التطبيق البعدي، وقد تم تفسير تلك النتائج إلى كفاءة الوحدة المقترحة في كيمياء الفيمتو في تنمية القيم العلمية لطلاب مجموعة البحث وأثرها في إتاحة الفرصة لتمتع الطلاب بالمحتوى الغير تقليدي للوحدات التي تعودوا عليها في مختلف المواد التي يدرسونها بما مثل لديهم تجديد لقدرتهم في استيعاب وفهم هذا المحتوى الجديد، ودراسة موضوعات المحتوى بطرق ووسائل وأنشطة مختلفة متضمنة بداخل كتيب الطالب مما سهل على الطلاب فهمها وتفسيرها لجميع مستوياتهم، واستعرضت الباحثة عددا من التوصيات المنبثقة من الدراسة ومنها تدريب الطلاب المعلمين بكليه التربية شعبة الكيمياء على تدريس مقرر في كيمياء الفيمتو وتطوير مقرر الكيمياء، بحيث يتضمن وحدة كيمياء الفيمتو، وكذلك قدمت عدة مقترحات ببعض التوجيهات المستقبلية. The current study aimed to determine the effect of teaching the content of a proposed unit in femto chemistry to high school students on cognitive achievement and scientific values. The student’s handbook and teacher’s guide were prepared to study the content of the proposed unit. The researcher also prepared tools to measure its impact on cognitive achievement and scientific values in the dimensions of scientific honesty, curiosity and perseverance. Acceptance of criticism and appreciation of science and the efforts of scientists. One of the most important results of the study was the existence of statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the research group students in the degrees of the pre and post application of the achievement test and the scale of scientific values in favor of the post application. These results were interpreted to the efficiency of the proposed unit in femto chemistry. In developing the scientific values of the students of the research group and its effect in providing the opportunity for students to enjoy the non-traditional content of the units they are accustomed to in the various subjects that they study, including that they have a renewal of their abilities to comprehend and understand this new content, and to study content topics in different ways, means and activities included in the student handbook. Easy for students to understand and interpret for all levels, and reviewed the researcher has a number of recommendations emanating from the study and is training student teachers in the Faculty of Education, Chemistry Division, to teach a course in femtosecond chemistry and to develop a chemistry course, so that it includes the femto chemistry unit. She also made several proposals for some future directions. (Published abstract)
