هدف البحث إلى الكشف عن أثر كلا من الجنس ونوع الإعاقة والمرحلة العمرية على الانهماك في مهمات التعلم لدى عينة تكونت من (70) ذكر وأنثى من ذوي الاحتياجات الخاصة (معاقين عقليا - معاقين سمعيا - معاقين بصريا - ذوي صعوبات تعلم). وتكونت أدوات البحث من مقياس الانهماك بالتعلم. وتوصل البحث إلى: 1) لا يوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الانهماك في مهمات التعلم تعزى إلى متغير الجنس (ذكر، أنثى). 2) يوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الانهماك في مهمات التعلم تعزى إلى متغير نوع الإعاقة لصالح المعاقين سمعيا. 3) يوجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الانهماك في مهمات التعلم تعزى إلى متغير المرحلة العمرية لصالح الفئة من (12-15) سنة. The research aims to detect the impact of gender and type of disability and age stage on engagement in learning tasks with sample consisted of (70) males and females with special needs (mentally handicapped - hearing impaired - visually impaired - with learning disabilities). The research tools consisted of scale engagement in learning. The research concluded: 1) There are no statistically significant differences in engagement in learning tasks due to the gender variable (male, female). 2) There are statistically significant differences in the engagement in learning tasks due to the type of disability variable in favor of the hearing impaired. 3) There are statistically significant differences in the engagement in learning tasks due to the variable of the age stage in favor of the group from (12-15) years.
