أكد العديد من الباحثين على ضرورة أن يكون المعلمون على وعى بالابتكار وأهميته سواء بالنسبة للفرد آو المجتمع لما لذلك من أهمية في إتقان عملية التعلم وزيادة التفكير وتعزيز السلوكيات الايجابية، وعليهم أن يكونون على علم بما يقومون به من سلوكيات ابتكاريه داخل الفصول الدراسية، كما أنهم مطالبون بتعليم طلابهم كيف يكونون مبتكرين. لذلك كان التأكيد من قبل الباحثين على ضرورة التدريب على الوعي الابتكاري سواء كان للطالب المعلم او المعلمون أثناء الخدمة لانعكاس ذلك عليهم أنفسهم او على طلابهم.هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على فاعلية برنامج تدريبي في زيادة الوعي الابتكاري لدى عينة الدراسة المختارة. تكونت عينة الدراسة من 42 طالبا تم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين  إحداهما تجريبية والأخرى ضابطة. تمثلت أدوات الدراسة في إعداد برنامج تدريبي يهدف إلى إحداث تغيير في الوعي الابتكاري لدى المتدربين، ومقياس للوعي الابتكاري تم استخدامه قبل البرنامج وبعد الانتهاء من التدريب. أشارت النتائج إلى وجود فروق داله إحصائيا بين متوسط درجات  المجموعة التجريبية ومتوسط درجات المجموعة الضابطة في الدرجة الكلية للوعي الابتكاري ومكوناته الثلاثة المدروسة لصالح المجموعة التجريبية. Several researchers have stressed the necessity of teachers being aware of creativity and its importance for both the individual and the society, for that it is important in developing mastery learning process, upgrading thinking and reinforcing positive behavior. Teachers also have to be aware of any creative behavior they adopt inside classrooms and have to teach their students how to be creative. Hence, researchers have come to emphasize the necessity of training that is focused on creativity awareness for both student teachers and in-service teachers as it directly affects them and their students. The study aimed at identifying the efficacy of a training program in raising awareness of creativity among the selected study sample which consisted of 42 students divided into an experimental group and a control one. The study instruments were a training program aimed at changing the trainees' awareness of creativity and a scale that has been employed before the program and after the end of the training. The results indicated that there were statistically significant differences between the mean scores of the experimental group and the control one in the total score of the creative awareness and its target components that were investigated in favor of the experimental group.
