هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى الكشف عن العلاقة بين تقدير الذات واستراتيجيات المواجهة لدى الطلبة الموهوبين في مدينة الأحساء، كما هدفت إلى الكشف عن الفروق بين الذكور والإناث في كل من تقدير الذات واستراتيجيات المواجهة، وهدفت كذلك إلى التعرف على الفروق بين الطلبة الموهوبين في كل من تقدير الذات واستراتيجيات المواجهة في المراحل التعليمية الثلاث (الابتدائية والمتوسطة والثانوية)، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (342) طالب وطالبة من طلبة المرحلة الابتدائية والمرحلة المتوسطة والمرحلة الثانوية الموهوبين بإدارة التعليم بالأحساء في المملكة العربية السعودية مقسمين إلى (268) طالب و(74) طالبة، طبق عليهم مقياس تقدير الذات (النعيمات، 2015)، ومقياس استراتيجيات المواجهة المطور من قبل (النواب والصالحي، 2016). وأسفرت النتائج عن وجود معامل ارتباط موجب ودال إحصائياً بين الدرجة الكلية لتقدير الذات واستراتيجيات المواجهة، كما أشارت النتائج إلى عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في الدرجة الكلية لتقدير الذات تبعاً لمتغير الجنس، وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في الابعاد الفرعية الثلاث (تقدير الذات الاجتماعي، تقدير الذات الشخصي ، تقدير الذات الرفاقي) تبعاً لمتغير الجنس، ووجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في بعد تقدير الذات العائلي وفقاً لمتغير الجنس وكانت الفروق لصالح الذكور، وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسطات درجات تقدير الذات الكلى والابعاد الفرعية الأربعة وفقاً لمتغير المرحلة الدراسية، وأشارت النتائج كذلك إلى عدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في استراتيجيات المواجهة تبعاً لمتغير الجنس، وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً في استراتيجيات المواجهة وفقاً لمتغير المرحلة الدراسية، وتم تقديم عدد من التوصيات المنبثقة من الدراسة. This study aimed to reveal the relationship between self-esteem and coping strategies of gifted students in al-Ahsa city. It also aimed to reveal the differences between males and females in both self-esteem and coping strategies. It also aimed to identify the differences between gifted students in Both self-esteem and coping strategies in the three educational stages (elementary, intermediate and secondary), and the study sample consisted of (342) male and female students of the primary, intermediate and talented secondary schools in the Education Department in al-Ahsa in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia divided into (268) male and (74) female students were applied to them the self-esteem scale (al-Na`imat, 2015), and the confrontation strategies scale developed by (al-Nawab and Al Salihi, 2016), and the results resulted in a positive correlation coefficient and statistically significant between the total score of the estimate. Self and coping strategies, as the results indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the total degree of self-esteem according to the gender variable, and the absence of statistically significant differences in the three sub-dimensions (social self-esteem, self-esteem, etc.) Personal, comradeship self-esteem) according to the gender variable, and the presence of statistically significant differences in the dimension of family self-esteem according to the gender variable and the differences were in favor of males, and the absence of statistically significant differences between the mean of the total self-esteem scores and the four subdimensions according to the stage variable and indicated. The results also indicated that there were no statistically significant differences in the coping strategies according to the gender variable, and there were no statistically significant differences in the coping strategies according to the school stage variable, and a number of recommendations emanating from the study were presented.
