هدفت الدراسة التعرف على القدرة التنبؤية لأنماط التعلق الوالدي بالمهارات الاجتماعية لدى طلبة الصف العاشر في لواء سحاب. تكونت عينة الدراسة من (826) طالبا وطالبة من طلبة الصف العاشر اختيروا عشوائيا. ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة، تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي حيث تم استخدام مقياس أنماط التعلق الوالدي، ومقياس المهارات الاجتماعية. أشارت النتائج أن أنماط التعلق الوالدي السائدة لدى طلبة الصف العاشر هي نمط التعلق الآمن، ثم نمط التعلق القلق ومن ثم نمط التعلق التجنبي. بينت نتائج الدراسة أنَ مستوى المهارات الاجتماعية لدى طلبة الصف العاشر كان متوسطا. أشارت النتائج لوجود علاقة ارتباطية موجبة بينَ نمط التعلق الأمن والمهارات الاجتماعية، ووجود علاقة ارتباطية سالبة بين نمط التعلق القلق والمهارات الاجتماعية، وعدم وجود علاقة ارتباطية دالة احصائيا بين نمط التعلق التجنبي وبين المهارات الاجتماعية. وفي ضوء النتائج، تم تقديم بعض التوصيات. The study aimed to investigate the predictability of parents’ attachment style of social skills among tenth grade students at Sahab district. The study sample included (826) male and female tenth graders. To achieve the aim of the study descriptive correlational design was employed. For data collection, parents’ attachment styles and social skills scales were used. The result of the study showed that the prevalent attachment style among tenth graders was secure attachment style, followed by anxious attachment style, and finally, avoidant attachment style. The results showed that social skills level among tenth graders was moderate. It was found that there is a statistically significant positive correlation between secure attachment style and social skills, while a statistically significant negative correlation was found between anxious attachment style and social skills, while no correlation was found between avoidant attachment style and social skills. In light of the result, some recommendations were presented. (Published abstract)
