Identifying the role of the deanship of development and quality and its deputy dept., at King Saud University in supporting academic departments to obtain academic accreditation, revealing the difficulties they face, and then identifying the significance of statistical differences (if any) in the responses of the study sample that are attributed to the study variables: (work, place nature of work), and then come up with proposals that can help the deanship of development and quality and its deputy dept., at King Saud University in supporting academic departments to obtain academic accreditation. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive survey method, relying on the questionnaire as a study tool, and the tool was applied to faculty members and those of similar rank and administrators in humanitarian colleges and the deanship of development and quality at King Saud University the researcher used the intentional sample and reached (198) individuals, thus the study reached several results, the most prominent of which are : that there is a medium degree of agreement among the study individuals on the role of the deanship of development and quality and its deputy at King Saud University in supporting academic departments to obtain academic accreditation. That there is a high degree of agreement among the study individuals on the difficulties facing the deanship of development and quality and its deputy at King Saud University in supporting academic departments to obtain academic accreditation. That there are statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) between the average responses of the study individuals about the role of the deanship of development and quality and its deputy at King Saud University in supporting academic departments to obtain academic accreditation according to the different workplace variable. This is for the benefit of the study individuals who work in an academic department that has academic accreditation. (Published abstract)
