تهدف الدراسة الحالية إلى الكشف عن نسبة إنتشار إدمان الفايسبوك عند الطلبة الجامعيين والفروق بين الجنسين في مستوى الإعتمادية على هذا الموقع. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، وإعتمادا على المنهج الوصفي قامت الباحثة بتصميم مقياس لإدمان الفايسبوك وتوزيعه على 450 طالب وطالبة من جامعة باجي مختار، عنابة. وقد أشارت نتائج الدراسة بصفة عامة إلى: أن عدد الطلبة المدمنين على موقع الفايسبوك قد بلغ 136 طالب، بنسبة مئوية مقدرة ب 31.9% من المجموع الإجمالي للطلبة، كما دلت الدراسة على وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في الإدمان على موقع الفايسبوك تعزى لمتغير الجنس، وقد كانت الفروق لصالح الإناث. The current study aimed to detect the prevalence of addiction to Facebook among university students and gender differences in the level of this addiction. To achieve the objectives of the study, and depending on the descriptive method, the researcher designed a scale for Facebook addiction and distributed to 405 students from the University of Badji Mokhtar- Annaba. The results of the study indicated that: The number of students addicted to Facebook is 136, an estimated 31.9% of the total number of students. There are statistically significant differences in addiction on Facebook due to the sex variable, and the differences were in favour of females. (Published abstract)
