The effect of Shannon and Weaver communicative model on time management skills for fourth-grade students of the College of Education in the subject of measurement and evaluation [Article]
This research aimed to verify the effect of Shannon & Wafer's model on time management skills of fourth-stage students in the college of education in the subject of measurement and evaluation. To achieve this, the researcher used experimental design with partial control, which consists of two groups, one is experimental and the other is a control, the random researcher chose the University of Al-Qadisiyah College of Education department of history as a place to conduct the experiment, the number of the sample (experimental and controlling) was (85) male and female students (41) male and female students the control (44) male and female students. In a random manner, class (b) was chosen as an experimental group that studies by Shannon model of communication, and the control group is taught by the usual method. The scientific material was also identified, behavioral objectives formulated, and teaching plans prepared. In line with the research aim, the researchers prepared a scale of time management skills, the scale validity and reliability were verified as well as the statistical analysis of its items. The results showed that the experimental group that was studied according to the Shannon and wafer communication model better than the control group that was studied in the usual method, in light of the research results, the researchers recommended the need of using Shannon and wafer communication model. The researchers also presented a set of recommendations and proposals, as conducting studies similar to the current study at other academic levels . Also, to know the effect of using Shannon and Wafer's communicative model with other variables, such as critical thinking, innovative thinking, visual thinking, and visual perception.
