هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على الاحتياجات التدريبية للقيادات المدرسية في المدارس الثانوية في الإدارة العامة للتعليم بالقصيم، السعودية، في ضوء الاتجاهات الإدارية الحديثة. وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (66) من القيادات المدرسية في الإدارة العامة للتعليم بالقصيم، واستخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي الكمي التحليلي، وتم استخدام الاستبانة المنظمة كأداة للدراسة، والتي احتوت على (33) فقرة موزعة على أربعة محاور وهي: "إدارة وقيادات العلميات الإدارية" و"الجودة وتطبيقاتها في المؤسسات التعليمية" و"التخطيط في المؤسسات التعليمية" و"إدارة الموارد البشرية". وكشفت نتائج الدراسة أن تقديرات أفراد عينة الدراسة للاحتياج التدريبي جاءت "كبيرة" في محور "إدارة وقيادات العلميات الإدارية" و" الجودة وتطبيقاتها في المؤسسات التعليمية" و"إدارة الموارد البشرية"، بينما جاءت درجة الاحتياج التدريبي "متوسطة" في محور "التخطيط في المؤسسات التعليمية". ولم تكشف الدراسة عن أي فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية تعزى لمتغير "المؤهل" أو "الخبرة" أو "النوع" بين استجابات أفراد عينة الدراسة. وفي الختام أوصت الدراسة بتضمين نتائجها في برامج التدريب المحلية والجامعية والخطط الاستراتيجية. This study aimed to identify the training needs of secondary school leaders in the general administration of education in Qassim, Saudi Arabia, in the light of modern administrative trends. The quantitative descriptive analytical approach has been used as the study methodology. The study sample consisted of (66) school leaders. The structured questionnaire has been employed as the study instrument. The findings of this study indicated that the training needs according to participants' responses were "great" in three of the study dimensions “management and leadership of administrative operations”, “quality and its applications in educational institutions” and “human resource management”. While the training needs was "moderate" in “planning in educational institutions". Furthermore, it has been found that there were no statistically significant differences between participants' responses depending on the study variables "gender", "qualification" and "experience. In conclusion, it has been recommended that these training needs should be added to the plans and strategies of training in local centers of general education and university training programs.
