هدفت هذه الدراسة التحديات التي تواجه المعلمين في تنمية مهارات المستقبل لدى الطلبة، ولتحقيق هدف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج المسحي، وتم تطوير استبانة وتم اختيار عينة عشوائية بسيطة تكونت من (500) معلما ومعلمة، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى أن التحديات التي تواجه المعلمين في تنمية مهارات المستقبل لدى الطلبة جاءت بدرجة مرتفعة، وفي ضوء النتائج التي توصلت إليها الدراسة، أوصى الباحثان بضرورة إجراء عمليات تطوير دورية للمناهج وذلك بهدف تطوير محتواها، وتجاوز أية جوانب ضعف أو قصور فيها. وضرورة إعطاء المزيد من الاهتمام بطرائق التدريس من قبل القائمين على إعداد المناهج وخاصة فيما يتعلق بالحداثة ودقة الوسائل والأنشطة، ويلاء المزيد من الاهتمام بالمحتوى الذي يزيد وعي الطلبة حول دور العلوم والتكنولوجية في زيادة رفاهية المجتمعات. This study aimed at the challenges facing teachers in developing students’ future skills. To achieve the study’s goal, the survey method was used, a questionnaire was developed and a simple random sample of (500) teachers was selected. The study concluded that the challenges facing teachers in the development of students' future skills, it came to a high degree, and in light of the results of the study, the researchers recommended the necessity of periodic development of curricula with the aim of developing its content and overcoming any weaknesses or shortcomings in it. And the need to give more attention to teaching methods by those in charge of preparing curricula, especially with regard to modernity and accuracy of means and activities, and more attention is given to content that increases students’ awareness of the role of science and technology in increasing the well-being of societies.
