هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى التعرف على واقع الممارسة المهنية لمعلمي العلوم في المرحلة الثانوية في ضوء المعايير المسارات المهنية للمعلمين، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي المسحي، وكانت بطاقة الملاحظة أداة للدراسة لمعرفة واقع الممارسة المهنية لمعلمي العلوم في ضوء المعايير والمسارات المهنية للمعلمين. وقد طبقت أداة الدراسة في الفصل الدراسي الأول من العام الدراسي 1439/1440هـ على عينة من معلمي العلوم الطبيعية بالمرحلة الثانوية بمحافظة تربة التابعة لتعليم الطائف وقد بلغت عينة الدراسة 20 معلما من مجتمع الدراسة البالغ 36 معلما، وتوصلت الدراسة إلى أن أداء معلمي العلوم بالمرحلة الثانوية في معيار "تخطيط الوحدات الدراسية وتنفيذها " كان بدرجة متوسطة، كما أن الأداء في معيار "بيئات تعلم تفاعلية وداعمة للطالب" كان أيضا بدرجة متوسطة، بينما تشير الدراسةإلى درجة ضعيفة من الأداء لمعلمي العلوم بالمرحلة الثانوية في معيار "تقويم أداء الطالب"، وقد خرجت الدراسة ببعض التوصيات والمقترحات الهامة. This study aimed to identify the reality of the professional practice of science teachers in the secondary stage in the light of the standards and professional career of teachers. To achieve the objectives of the study, the surveying descriptive method was used. The observation card was the tool for studying the reality of the professional practice of science teachers in light of the standards and professional career of teachers. The study tool was applied in the first semester of the academic year 1439/1440 AH on a sample of natural sciences teachers in the secondary stage in Tarabah governorate belonging to Taif education. The study sample reached 20 teachers from the study society of 36 teachers. The study concluded that the performance of science teachers in the secondary stage in the module planning and implementation standard was medium, and the performance in the "interactive and supportive student learning environments" was also medium, while the study indicated a poor performance of secondary stage science teachers in the student performance assessment the study came out with important recommendations and proposals.
