This research aimed at exploring the effectiveness of a teaching program based on suggested norms of civilizational dialogue in the light of Islamic vision on the development of the world mentality among students at University of Bisha. Descriptive and quasi-experimental methods were used in this research. The researcher prepared a list of (30) Islamic vision norms for the global civilizational dialogue, established the teaching program based on those norms and prepared the scale of world mentality which consisted of (50) items assigned to five dimensions (common values, issues of security and peace, issues of development, global history, issues of human rights). The sample of the study consisted of (20) first year students at the University of Bisha. Results revealed the effectiveness of the teaching program in the development of the global mentality among students at the University of Bisha. The research recommended the importance of incorporating the suggested Islamic vision norms of civilizational dialogue in the educational content of the university courses. Moreover, the research recommended facilitating training programs and activities that disseminate the dialogue culture and foster values of national unity, accepting and co-operating with the other among university students. Finally, the study suggested carrying out further studies to determine the effects of student activities on the development of the global mentality among university students in addition to evaluating the curriculum in different stages of study in the light of norms of Islamic vision of civilizational dialogue.
