يهدف البحث الحالي إلى التعرف على دور مدير المدرسة الابتدائية بمصر في زيادة وعي المعلم للتوصيف الوظيفي لمهنته، مع استعراض خبرة كندا والولايات المتحدة في هذا المجال، واعتمدت الباحثة على المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، مع إعداد استبانه للتعرف على دور مدير المدرسة الابتدائية في زيادة وعي المعلم للتوصيف الوظيفي لمهنته، ومدى وعي المعلمين أنفسهم بأدوارهم في ضوء التوصيف الوظيفي لهم، وتوصل البحث إلى أن المدير يقوم ببذل جهد كبير لزيادة وعي معلم المرحلة الابتدائية في مصر للتوصيف الوظيفي لمهنته وتبعا لذلك تم وضع خطة مقترحة لزيادة فاعلية دور المدير في هذا المجال. The current research aims to know the role of primary school administrator in Egypt to increase the teachers’ awareness of their occupational description, also it presents Canadian and American experience in this field. The research depended on the descriptive analytical method, questionnaire aims to know the role of primary school administrator in Egypt to increase the teachers awareness of their occupational description, also to know the limit of teachers awareness of their roles in the light of the occupational description. It revealed that administrator makes all his efforts to increase the teachers’ awareness of their occupational description, the suggestion has been supposed to increase the effectiveness of the role of primary school administrator in this field.
