هدفت هذه الدراسة للتعرف على مظاهر وأسباب العنف لدى طلبة المرحلة الثانوية. واستخدمت المنهج النوعي، حيث تم تطبيق المقابلة على العينة التي تكونت من دراسة حالات طلابية. وأوضحت النتائج أن هناك علاقة وثيقة بين مظاهر العنف وبين الصراعات الداخلية والمشاكل الانفعالية، والشعور بالإبتعاد عن دائرة الاحتواء والمشاركة. وأن ارتكاب الطالب للعنف قد يكون نابعاً من عدم امتلاكه لمهارة حسن التصرف ومعرفة الطالب بالسلوك الصحيح، وفي بعض الأحيان قد يكون السبب عدم القدرة على التعبير الصحيح عن المشاعر والأفكار بحيث يسيئون توصيل رسائل صحيحة للطرف المقابل. وأن البيئة المدرسية بدور بارز في الحد من العنف من خلال الآليات التربوية الجيدة في الضبط والتوجيه والإرشاد النفسي والاجتماعي. This study aimed to identify the manifestations and causes of violence among high school students. The qualitative approach was used, as the interview was applied to the sample that consisted of studying student cases and the results showed that there is a close relationship between manifestations of violence and between internal conflicts and emotional problems, and a feeling of distance from the circle of containment and participation. And that the student’s perpetration of violence may be due to his lack of good behavior skill and the student’s knowledge of the correct behavior, and sometimes the reason may be the inability to properly express feelings and ideas so that they misrepresent the correct messages to the opposite party. And that the school environment plays a prominent role in reducing violence through good educational mechanisms for psychological and social control, guidance and counseling. (Published abstract)
