استهدفت تلك الدراسة التعرف على دور التعليم الجامعي فى تحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة والمعوقات التى تعوقه عن القيام بذلك، مع تقديم تصور مقترح لتفعيل ذلك الدور، من خلال توضيح رؤية مصر 2030 للتعليم الجامعي، وإبراز التحديات والمعوقات التي تقف أمام دور التعليم الجامعي لتحقيق للتنمية المستدامة، وذلك لوضع تصور مقترح يقدم مجموعة من المقترحات والإجراءات اللازمة للتغلب على تلك المعوقات لتحقيق التنمية المستدامة في ضوء "رؤية مصر 2030". وقد استخدمت الدراسة المنهج الوصفي. وتناولت الدراسة محاور أربعة لتحقيق أهدافها، المحور الأول (رؤية مصر 2030 للتنمية المستدامة)، المحور الثاني (علاقة التعليم الجامعي بالتنمية المستدامة في ضوء رؤية مصر 2030)، المحور الثالث (معوقات دور التعليم الجامعي في تحقيق التنمية المستدامة)، المحور الرابع (نتائج الدراسة والتصور المقترح). The aim of this study is to identify the role of university education in achieving the goals of sustainable development and the obstacles that hinder it from doing so, while presenting a proposed scenario for activating that role by clarifying the vision of Egypt 2030 for university education and highlighting the challenges and obstacles facing the role of university education in achieving sustainable development. To develop a proposed vision that presents a set of proposals and measures to overcome these obstacles to achieve sustainable development in the light of the vision of Egypt 2030. The study used the descriptive approach. The fourth theme (the relationship of university education to sustainable development in the light of Egypt 2030), the third axis (obstacles to the role of university education in achieving sustainable development), the fourth axis (the results of the study and the proposed vision).
