The research aims to identify the effectiveness of a model in the achievement of students of the fifth grade literary history and to achieve the goal of research formulated by the researcher hypothesis zero search variables, the researcher followed the experimental method, the research community consisted of fifth grade students in the preparatory and secondary schools of the directorate general for the province of Diyala the study sample consisted of (65) students (33) for the experimental group and (32) students in the control group. The researcher used the statistical means of the statistical package SPSS. The results of the research proved that there are statistically significant differences in favor of group the researcher concluded that the Bintrich model played an effective role in increasing student achievement within the limits of research. He recommended a number of recommendations, including the inclusion of the history material for the preparatory stage in general and the history in particular, various activities and training to help increase their academic achievement, he suggested several proposals, including a study of the effectiveness of an educational unit in history according to the model of Bintrich in the development of innovative thinking and motivation towards the material.
