The study aimed at identifying the most significant concepts of security education in the university education, and revealing the reality Saudi universities’ roles in achieving security education for their students through; university management, university professor, curriculum, non-classroom activities, then to provide a comprehensive strategy to achieve 1security education among students of the Saudi universities the study used the descriptive survey approach and the documentary methodology. The questionnaire was applied to a sample of 584 students from King Saud University, Imam Mohammed Bin Saud and Princess Noura Bint Abdul Rahman in Riyadh. The study revealed the following findings: 1) among the most prominent concepts of security education in the university education in terms of security domains are; the sense of security responsibility, crisis and disaster management, social solidarity, crime control, intellectual property protection, regulatory system, family security, consumer protection law, information technology ethics. 2) The role of the university management, university professor and curriculum in achieving security education was high from the perspective of the study participants, whereas the role of classroom activities in achieving security education was average. 3) Providing a trial strategy based on vision, mission, objectives, principles, implementation requirements and mechanisms of the strategy, the parties responsible for its implementation, the obstacles to its implementation and the proposed methods to overcome these obstacles.
