The present study aimed at knowing: 1) the self-transcendence of widow teachers. 2) Finding the self-transcendence of the widows’ teachers according to the variables: 1) age. 2) The year of widowhood. 3) The death conditions. The researcher conducted them on the sample of the researcher which consist of (300) widow teacher who work in primary schools in Diyala governorate for the academic year 2012-2013. The researcher has constructed the scales the self-transcendence based on the existential theory. The scale consists (65) item distributed among eight domains. The researcher has used the following statistical means: Pearson movement correlation t-test for one sample, t-test for two independent samples variance. The researcher has reached to the following results: the individuals of the research sample of the widows’ teachers have self-transcendence. The calculated value is (50.73) and the tabulated value is (1.96). They are also differencing not in the age. Also differences not the variable the year of widowhood, they are also differencing not the variable death condition of the widows’ teachers. In the light of the research results, the researcher has drawn some conclusion, recommendations and suggestions for further researchers. (Published abstract)
