This study aimed to determine the values of volunteerism and community service that are necessary to be developed for the public education students in Egypt, besides identifying the role of media education in the development of these values, and monitor the values of volunteerism and community service available in general goals and objectives of grades, and objectives of public education subjects in Egypt. The study relied on the analytical descriptive approach, in addition to adopting content analysis to monitor these values, and the study presented the following results, including: 1) For values of volunteerism and community service included in the general objectives of the kindergarten, eight values were focused in the general objectives of the kindergarten, including individual-positive-liability patriotism- sincerity- patience and respect for the views – persistence grouping- sacrifice. 2) For the values of volunteerism and community service included in the overall objectives of the primary stage, five values were focused on through the goals for elementary school including the positivity love of public good - sincerity- grouping- respect for the views of others. 3) For the values of volunteerism and community service included in the general objectives of the middle stage, included the homeland love citizenship- good public love- openness – individual responsibility grouping- respect for the views of others. 4) For the values of volunteerism and community service included in the overall objectives of the secondary stage. Values gained the attention included individual responsibility – homeland love -active citizenship-engage in public life- entrepreneurial spirit - good public love - accept diversity- sacrifice- sincerity- grouping - respect for the views of others.
