The research aims to identify the effectiveness of the use of infographic technology as a new technique for the design and production of visual materials in the educational process and its impact on the development of knowledge, skills and student products for the design of optics. The aim of the study is also to identify the effect of the different kinds of Infographic, (lists- relations), the type of cognitive method (independence, dependence) and the interaction between them on the knowledge, skills and products of art education students In relation to optical design. The experimental approach based on global design 2 × 2 was used. The research consists of (4) experimental groups, to answer the research questions and verify its assumptions. The research sample consulted of (68) students from the Department of Art Education, Faculty of Education, Jazan University. The independent and accredited students were trained using presentations that included the fixed infographic with its two kinds (lists_ relations). The research tools consisted of the achievement test, the use of the performance note card and the student product evaluation card from the visual materials, and the search results in:There is a statistically significant difference between (0.05) among the average scores of the students who were trained using the epigraphic regardless of the different types (lists - relations) and the cognitive style of the students (Independence - Dependence) in the before And after measurements in favor of the post measurement in the test, note card and product evaluation card There is no statistically significant difference between (0.05) among the average scores of students who have been trained by using the infographic due to the main effect of the different type (lists - relationships) regardless of the students' cognitive style (independence - Dependence) in the test, the observation card and the product evaluation card. The presence of a statistically significant difference at the level of (0.05) among the average scores of the students who were trained using the infographic is due to the main effect of the difference in the cognitive style of the students (independence - accreditation) Regardless of the type Of the Infographic (lists - relations) In the cognitive achievement test of optical design skills and the performance of optical design skills and product quality for students (cognitive-dependent), this means that students who rely on the cognitive field are Independent students from the field in achievement, performance and product. the presence of interaction of the main influences of both the type of the Infographic (lists-relations) and cognitive style (independence- dependence) on the cognitive achievement and the performance of optical design skills and the quality of the product.
