The research aims to identify the critical thinking in science books included in the preparatory phase and measuring the degree to include all the skill in the three rows of the stage preparatory activities Skills, This has necessitated a list of some of the skills include critical thinking appropriate for middle school students have been analyzed in the light of activities targeted science books in order to identify the extent of those books included for specific skills, The findings resulted in the activities included science curriculum for critical thinking skills to varying degrees and that was not the level of expectancy. The study recommended a review of the activities of the importance of the content of the science curriculum to allow the content to include a higher proportion of critical thinking skills.
