The study aimed to identify the reality of the field training at Rustaq College of Applied Science and constraints from the graduating students' viewpoints. Also, it sought to find out the impact of both gender and specialist A questionnaire of 47 items of three themes: reality of training, academic constraints and administrative and societal constraints. After assuring the validity and reliability of the questionnaire, it was given to 252 graduating students. The data was analysed using the mean and standard deviation for one group and T-Test for two independent groups to find out the differences between the variables. The results of the study indicated that the field training at Rustaq College of Applied Science was of an average level, and the students have training needs that must be met by the college administration and its academic departments. The academic constraints came first in terms of the mean, which was one of the most obstacles reported by the graduating students. The results also revealed that the administrative and societal obstacles came second after the academic obstacles. Regarding the impact of the independent variables, the results indicated that there were not significant differences in the variables of the gender and specialistin the field training at Rustaq College of Applied Science. The study offered a number of recommendations, one of which was allocation of credited hours for training in the academic programmes at Rustaq college of Applied Science in the programmes are reviewed and updated.
