The research aimed at measuring the effectiveness of electronic instructional games in developing some universal concepts, scientific fiction and motivation for learning of pre-school children (5-6) years old. The following instruments were used in the research: A pictured achievement test for measuring the universal concepts, a pictured scientific fiction test and a scale for motivation for learning. The following results were reached: There is a statistically significant difference at (.01) level between the mean scores of the pre-post testing of universal concepts in favor of the post application. There is a statistically significant difference at (.01) level between the mean scores of the pre-post testing of scientific fiction in favor of the post application. There is a statistically significant difference at (.01) level between the mean scores of the pre-post measurement of the scale of motivation for learning in favor of the post application. The practical applications: The current research may contribute in using the electronic instructional games in developing the pre-school children universal concepts, scientific fiction and motivation for learning.
