This study aimed at determining the degree of psychological adjustment among the blind female students in Medina (Al-Nour Elementary Institute for the Blind Intermediate Amalgamation Blind 51- Secondary Amalgamation Blind 15) .The study followed the descriptive methodology. The sample comprised 50 female blind students whose ages ranged from 7 to 18 years at elementary, intermediate and secondary schools which are affiliated to the Ministry of Education during the academic year 1434-1435AH (2013-2014). The following are the most significant results: The social adjustment was the dimension that came first regarding the sample's response. There was a statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the psychological adjustment in general among the students according to the variable of age (less than 10 years – from 10 to 18 years) in favor of the category (10-18 years).There was no statistically significant difference between the mean scores of the psychological adjustment in general among the students according to the variable of vision disability .There was no statistically significant difference between mean scores of the psychological conformity in general among the students according to the variable “the study stage”. In the light of the results, many recommendations were presented among which are the following: To establish counseling centers for psychological guidance for the blind female students and those with poor vision with in order to treat their psychological disorders. Stressing the importance of conducting educational and psychological training courses that are anticipated to enhance the social and psychological role, extent of accommodation, comprehension , and coping with others. It is essential to enhance self-confidence via encouraging to effectively participate in the discussion group, cultural competition and rehabilitation training courses that are expected to activate the individual’s positive role.
