استهدفت الدراسة تقويم برامج إعداد معلم العلوم بجامعة نجران في ضوء معايير الجودة, ولتحقيق هذا الهدف قام الباحث بإعداد أحد عشر استبياناً للتعرف علي مدي توافر معايير الهيئة الوطنية للتقويم والاعتماد الأكاديمي بالمملكة العربية السعودية(الرسالة والغايات والأهداف -إدارة البرنامج -إدارة ضمان جودة البرنامج -التعليم والتعلم -إدارة شؤون الطلاب والخدمات المساندة-مصادر التعلم-المرافق والتجهيزات -التخطيط والإدارة المالية للبرنامج -عمليات التوظيف -البحث العلمي -العلاقات مع المجتمع)في برنامج إعداد معلمة العلوم قسم الكيمياء -كلية العلوم والآداب -جامعة نجران. وقد تم تطبيق الاستبانات علي عينة بلغ عددها (194) من أعضاء وعضوات هيئه التدريس, الطالباتالإداريات, أدارة تعليم البنات, أولياء الأمور, خريجات البرنامج.وقد توصلت الدراسة إلي نتائج من أهمها أن البرنامج لا يفيبمعايير الجودة للهيئة الوطنية للتقويم والإعتماد الأكاديمي حيث تراوحت قيم المتوسط العام للوسط الحسابي للمعايير الرئيسية والفرعية بين درجة توافر ضعيفة ومرضية. The study aimed evaluation program of science teacher preparation at the University of Najran in the light of quality standards, and to achieve this goal the researcher prepared a eleven questionnaire to identify the availability of standards of the National Assessment and Accreditation of Saudi Arabia (mission, goals and objectives - program management - management quality assurance program – education and learning - Department of student Affairs and support services - learning Resources - facilities and equipment - planning and financial management of the program - recruitment - scientific research - community relations) in the Science teacher preparation program, Department of Chemistry - College of Arts and Sciences - University of Najran. Questionnaires has been applied on a total sample number (194) of male and female members of faculty, students, administrators, management of girls' education, parents, female graduates of the program. The study found the results of the most important that the program does not meet the quality standards of the National Assessment and Accreditation NCAAA, ranged overall average of the main and branch standards between the degree of availability of weak and acceptable.
