This study aimed to determine the misconceptions in mathematics course for preparatory year students, which appear for them during mathematics teaching and learning. The study designed two diagnostics tests and attitude questionnaire towards mathematics. The sample consisted of 200 students (100 students from human science track and 100 students from application science track).The results indicated that the sample had many common errors in mathematics course, the study determine many misconceptions in mathematics course and no relation between misconceptions and attitude towards mathematics.
