In the current educational climate of constant attention being placed on school achievement and educational reform, this study examines the impact of culture on school renewal. The focus of this study is the school site as a source for cultural renewal. The strategies utilized by one school leader and her staff to develop a school renewal plan that employed data to impact student achievement are examined. (Published abstract)
