هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تحديد درجة امتلاك معلمي التربية الخاصة للكفايات التكنولوجية التعليمية في المنطقة الجنوبية بالمملكة العربية السعودية، وتحديد مستوى أدائهم التدريسي، وبيان فيما إذا كانت هناك علاقة ارتباطية بين درجة امتلاك معلمي التربية الخاصة للكفايات التكنولوجية وأدائهم التدريسي، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدم الباحث المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (92) معلمًا ومعلمة، منهم (62) معلماً، و(30) معلمة، تم اختيارهم بالطريقة العشوائية البسيطة، وكشفت النتائج أن درجة امتلاك معلمي التربية الخاصة للكفايات التكنولوجية في المنطقة الجنوبية بالمملكة العربية السعودية كبيرة، وأن مستوى أدائهم التدريسي كبير، وكشفت أيضا عدم وجود فروق دالةٍ إحصائيا في درجة امتلاك معلمي التربية الخاصة للكفايات التكنولوجية أو في مستوى أدائهم التدريسي تُعزى لمتغيري (الجنس، والخبرة التدريسية)، كما كشفت النتائج أيضاً أن هناك علاقة ارتباطية دالة إحصائية بين درجة امتلاك معلمي التربية الخاصة في المنطقة الجنوبية بالمملكة العربية السعودية للكفايات التكنولوجية ومستوى أدائهم التدريسي. The present study aims to investigate and identify the correlation between the degree of acquiring the educational technology competencies and the teaching performance among the teachers of special education in the Southern Region, KSA. To achieve its objectives, the study utilized the descriptive correlational design. It covered a randomly selected sample of (92) teachers; (62) males and (30) females. Results revealed that the degree of acquiring the educational technology competencies and the teaching performance of the teachers of special education in the Southern Region were high. There were no statistically significant differences in the degree of acquiring the educational technology competencies among the teachers of special education due to gender and teaching experience. Moreover, there were no statistically significant differences in the teaching performance of the teachers of special education due to gender and teaching experience. There was a statistically significant correlation between the degree of acquiring the educational technology competencies and the teaching performance among the teachers of special education in the Southern Region, KSA.
