The study aims to identify: 1) the administrative roles of the directors of pre-university academic institutes in promoting the intellectual security among students. 2) The technical roles of the directors of academic institutes in promoting the intellectual security among students. 3) Identifying the major constraints that limit the role of academic institutes' directors in promoting the intellectual security among students. 4) The most important recommendations that help the academic institutes' directors promote the intellectual security among students. The study employed a descriptive survey approach using the questionnaire as a tool. The study population consisted of all directors of academic institutes in KSA, with number of (67) directors. The most notable results of the study: 1) the study population highly agreed that the most important administrative roles of the directors of academic institutes, in promoting the intellectual security among students, lie in their understanding of all relevant circulars and regulations, and their awareness of the standard procedure in cases of violation by students regarding intellectual security, and their keenness in implementing the intellectual security plan. 2) The study population highly agreed that the most important administrative roles of the directors of institutes, in promoting intellectual security, is to integrate some content in the activities that show patriotism and belonging, necessity to protect the land, encouraging students to know the concepts and effects of intellectual security, and continuous monitoring of the students behavior to spot deviant thoughts. 3) The study population highly agreed that the barriers limiting the role of the directors of academic institutes, in promoting intellectual security among students, open access to social communication networks, and the presence of hostile media channels that negatively stimulate youths against their community and country. 4) The study population highly agreed that the most important proposals helping the directors of academic institutes, in promoting intellectual security among students, is clarification of the impacts of deviant thoughts and showing contemporary examples to warn youths against them, and to correct their misconceptions.
