The study was aimed to introduce the importance of strategic planning in developing educational supervision for the Ministry of Education in the Republic of Yemen, and the researchers used the descriptive analytical documentary approach, where the researchers conducted a survey and analysis of academic and scientific studies. In addition to a set of documents and publications issued by the Ministry of Education in Yemen, and the educational supervision sector and curriculum, during the period (2000-2020). The study consisted of an introduction. The problem included - questions - goals -importance - limitations - terminology - previous studies and methodology. With regard to the first topic; the organizational reality of the educational planning and supervision systems in Yemen, and the second topic was investigated; Factors affecting planning for educational supervision in Yemen, and the third topic was revealed; Success requirements for planning for the development of educational supervision in Yemen, as for the fourth topic; He reviewed the most important obstacles to planning educational supervision in Yemen. And based on the results, the researchers presented a set of recommendations and proposals. It stipulated the necessity of clear educational and planning policy goals, commitment to specific time periods for implementing the educational plan, developing management information systems and updating them constantly, giving priority to evaluating the implementation of strategic plans, and increasing material and moral incentives.
