This study aimed at investigating the level of painful childhood experiences, and psychological pollution, and the relationship between them. In addition, the detection of differences in painful childhood experiences and psychological pollution according to gender variable, the sample consisted of (175) male and female from university students: to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher prepared painful childhood experiences scale; it also used psychological pollution scale prepared by El-Nawajha (2017). The results showed that students have a moderate level in both their painful childhood experiences and psychological pollution, there was also correlation between painful childhood experiences and psychological pollution, also, the results showed no statistical differences in the painful childhood experiences according to the gender variable, the results also showed that there are statistically significant differences in psychological pollution due to gender variable in favor of males.
