هدفت الدراسة إلى الكشف عن درجة ممارسة معلمات الرياضيات للمرحلة الأساسية العليا لمهارات التفكير الجانبي ، وقد استخدمت الباحثتان أداة الدراسة وهي بطاقة ملاحظة مكونة من (20) فقرة موزعة على (5) مجالات، وقد تم استخدم المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، و تكون مجتمع الدراسة من جميع معلمات الرياضيات بالمدارس التابعة لمنطقة رفح التعليمية بوكالة الغوث والبالغ عددهم حسب السجلات الرسمية (171) معلمة، وبلغت عينة الدراسة (85) معلمة رياضيات ، وقد توصلت الدراسة إلى نتائج أهمها: درجة ممارسة معلمات الرياضيات للمرحلة الأساسية العليا لمهارات التفكير الجانبي لدى طالباتهن جاءت بمتوسط (1.96) وهو مستوى متوسط. This study aimed at investigating the degree of practicing of literal thinking skills among mathematics teachers at preparatory schools. The researchers used observation card consists of 20 items divided in 5 domains. The study uses the descriptive method. The study population consists of all mathematics teachers at Rafah UNRWA schools who are 171 teachers. The study sample consists of 85 mathematics teachers. The study concluded that the degree of the degree of practicing of literal thinking skills among mathematics teachers at preparatory schools is 1.96 and this is consider an average degree.
