هدفت الدراسة التعرف إلى درجة وعي أولياء الأمور والقائمين على أطفال التوحد بالمظاهر السلوكية للأطفال التوحديين في سلطنة عُمان. تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي، وتمثلت أدوات الدراسة بمقياس درجة الوعي بالمظاهر السلوكية للأطفال التوحديين الذي تم تطبيقه على (57) فرداً من أولياء الأمور والقائمين على أطفال التوحد بعد ان تم التوصل إلى خصائصه السيكومترية، واشارت نتائج الدراسة إلى أن درجة وعي أولياء الأمور والقائمين على أطفال التوحد بالمظاهر السلوكية للأطفال التوحديين في سلطنة عُمان جاءت بدرجة متوسطة، وعدم وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً بين متوسط درجات المظاهر السلوكية لأطفال التوحد من وجهة نظر أولياء الأمور والقائمين على أطفال التوحد. وفي ضوء نتائج الدراسة أوصى الباحث بضرورة تنمية المهارات الاتصالية لدى أطفال التوحد. This study aimed to know the extent of awareness of the parents and those who are in charge of the autistic children regarding the behavioral aspect in Sultanate of Oman. The descriptive analytical method is used. The study tool were represented in the measure of behavioral manifestations of autistic children and distributed to 57 individuals of the parents and teachers who they are in charge of those children. Validity and reliability of the scale were calculated and reached high degree. After conducting the statistical analysis process the result of the study showed the following: 1) Degree of the parents and those who are in charge of the autistic children about the behavioral aspects in Sultanate of Oman came at medium degree. 2) The absence of differences with statistically significance in the mean of the behavioral aspects degree of the autistic children and those who are in charge at the autistic children. In light of the results, the researcher recommends a number of recommendations for developing the communication skills of the autistic children. (Published abstract)
