يهدف البحث الحالي التعرف على أثر استراتيجية التخيل الموجه في تنمية التفكير ما وراء المعرفي وبعض المهارات الحياتية لدى طلاب الصف الأول المتوسط في مادة العلوم). ولتحقيق "هدف البحث "تمت صياغة فرضية خاضعة للتجريب، واستخدم الباحث التصميم التجريبي ذو المجموعتين المتكافئتين، وتكونت عينة البحث من (64) طالب من طلاب الصف الأول المتوسط بواقع (32) طالب للمجموعة التجريبية و(32) طالب للمجموعة الضابطة، اذ قارن الباحث بين مجموعتي البحث في المتغيرات الاتية (العمر الزمني محسوباً بالأشهر، التحصيل الدراسي السابق لمادة العلوم، التحصيل الدراسي لنصف السنة لمادة العلوم، اختبار الذكاء، "درجات الاختبار القبلي للمهارات الحياتية"، التحصيل الدراسي للآباء، التحصيل الدراسي للأمهات)، طبق الباحث الاختبار القبلي والبعدي للمهارات الحياتية وبعد معالجة البيانات احصائياً باستخدام الاختبار التائي (t-test) لعينتين مستقلتين "تبينت النتائج وجود فرق ذو دلالة احصائية بين متوسط درجات الاختبار البعدي المهارات الحياتية لدى "طلاب المجموعة التجريبية التي درست "باستخدام استراتيجية التخيل الموجه وطلاب المجموعة الضابطة التي درست" باستخدام الطريقة الاعتيادية. The research aims to recognize the effect of the strategy of guided imagination in the development of thinking beyond the knowledge and some life skills among students in the first intermediate grade in science. To attain this aim, an applicable hypothesis has been made and the researcher used the experimental design with two equivalent groups. And the samples consist of (64) students of the first intermediate grade: (32) Students for the experimental group and (32) for the keeping group. The researcher contrasted between the two groups in the following variables (time in months, the prior degree in science, the degree of the science in mid-year exam, intelligence test, the prior test degree for bio skills, academic achievement for the fathers and academic achievement for the mothers). The researcher applied the pre-test and the post-test for the bio skills and after analyzing data statistically by using (t-test) for the two independent samples. the results show statistical difference in the post test degrees for the bio skills exam for the experimental group that studied by using guided imagination strategy and students of the keeping group that studied" by the ordinary method.
