هدف البحث الى التعرف على أثر أنموذج كارين في تنمية الوعي الصحي لدى تلميذات الصف الخامس الابتدائي في مادة العلوم. وبعد تحديد مجتمع البحث، تم اختيار عينة البحث بالطريقة العشوائية وبلغ حجم العينة (69) تلميذه للمجموعتين، واجرت الباحثة التكافؤ بين المجموعتين في عدد من المتغيرات. ولتحقيق هدف البحث تطلب ذلك اعداد اداة مقياس الوعي الصحي الذي تكون بصيغته النهائية من (29) موقف، وتم التأكد من صدقه، فضلا عن ثباته الذي بلغ (0.90)، واستخراج القوة التمييزية للمقياس وفعالية البدائل الخاطئة. وبعد تحليل الباحثة البيانات احصائيا باستخدام الاختبار التائي (t-test) لعينتين مستقلتين كانت النتيجة وجود فرق ذو دلالة إحصائية بين متوسطي درجات تنمية الوعي الصحي لدى تلميذات المجموعتين التجريبية والضابطة ولصالح تلميذات المجموعة التجريبية .وفي ضوء نتائج البحث استنتجت الباحثة فاعلية التدريس باستخدام انموذج كارين، والاثر الإيجابي في تنمية الوعي الصحي لتلميذات الصف الخامس الابتدائي. The aim of the research was to identify the effect of the Karen model on the development of health awareness among students in the fifth grade in science. After selecting the research community, the sample was randomized and the sample size was 69 for the two groups. The researcher conducted the equivalence between the two groups in a number of variables. (0.90), and the extraction of the discriminating power of the scale and the effectiveness of the wrong alternatives. After the researcher analyzed the statistical data using the t-test of two independent samples, the result was a statistically significant difference between the two groups of awareness development Health of total pupils and in the interest of the experimental group. In the light of the results of the research, the researcher concluded the effectiveness of teaching using the Karen model, and the positive effect in developing the health awareness of the fifth grade pupils.
