هدفت الدراسة بناء برنامج تدريسي قائم على نظرية الرياضيات الواقعية، وقياس أثر استخدامه في تنمية مستوى التحصيل الرياضي وطبيعة الاتجاه نحو الرياضيات لدى طلاب البرامج التحضيرية بجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية، واستخدم الباحث المنهج شبه التجريبي، وتكونت عينة الدراسة من (72 طالباً) تم تقسيمهم إلى مجموعتين: إحداهما تجريبية (37 طالباً) وتدرس باستخدام البرنامج القائم على نظرية الرياضيات الواقعية، والأخرى ضابطة (35 طالباً) لا تدرس باستخدام البرنامج القائم على نظرية الرياضيات الواقعية وتدرس بطريقة المحاضرة المستخدمة بالجامعة. وتم بناء البرنامج التدريسي في ضوء نظرية الرياضيات الواقعية، واختبار تحصيلي لقياس الأثر، وتكون هذا الاختبار من (17) سؤال لقياس مستويات المعرفة والتطبيق والاستدلال، وإعداد مقياس الاتجاه نحو الرياضيات وتم التأكد من صدق وثبات أدوات الدراسة وأظهرت النتائج وجود فروق دالة إحصائياً عند مستوى الدلالة (α = 0.05) في أثر استخدام البرنامج التدريسي في زيادة مستوى التحصيل الدراسي والاتجاه نحو الرياضيات بين المجموعتين الضابطة والتجريبية لصالح المجموعة التجريبية، وفي ضوء النتائج تمت التوصية باستخدام البرنامج التدريسي القائم على نظرية الرياضيات الواقعية في تعليم وتعلم الرياضيات بقاعات البرامج التحضيرية في جامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية. This research aimed to design and identify the effectiveness of using a Teaching Program Based onaRealistic Mathematics Theory on Mathematics Achievement and the Attitude towards Mathematics among students of the preparatory programs in Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University. Quasi-experimental design was used in this study. The study sample included seventy-two students divided into two groups; an experimental group (37 students) and a control group (35 students). Experimental group students used a program based on a Realistic Mathematics Theory whereas those of the control group did not use a Realistic Mathematics Program. An achievement test that consisted of 17 questions was built and validated in order to measure the impact at knowledge, application and reasoning levels, and a scale of Attitude towards Mathematics was built and validated in order to measure the impact of using Realistic Mathematics Program on students' Attitude towards Mathematics, results showed, there are significant differences at the level of significance (α = 0.05) in the impact of using the Teaching Program in increasing academic achievement and Attitude towards Mathematics between the control and experimental groups for the experimental group, a Teaching Program Based onRealistic Mathematics Theory are recommended to be used in teaching and learning of mathematics in math classes of Preparatory Programs in Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University.
