The aim of the research was to identify the effect of the programmed instruction (IP) strategy (Linear) according to the blocked and random practice in learning some shooting skills and in developing the trend towards the basketball lesson and the researchers used the experimental approach , the statistic population consists of all students physical education total number 60 students divided by two group (A-B) so the sample of research consists of the second stage the grope (A) n=30, also, in this research, for analysis of the data the researcher used the SPSS 20. Finally, the results show that a programmed instruction (IP) strategy (Linear) strategy is an effective strategy in learning and acquiring some basketball shooting skills the programmed instruction strategy (PI) (Linear) according to the block and random practice has a positive effect for the development of the psychological trend towards the practice of basketball.
