The study aimed to identify the impact of e learning by using learning management system Edmodo in the achievement of the computer and information technology (1) at cognitive levels (remembering, understanding) at the female students of second secondary grade in Riyadh, and the trends towards it. To achieve the study objectives, the researcher used the semi- heuristic method. The study sample consisted of 62 female students from the students of first secondary grade in Riyadh, in the second semester 1437/ 1438 AH. It consists of (32) female students for the experimental group who studied by Learning Management Systems (Edmodo) that the researcher had prepared its content, and (30) female students for the control group who studied by using the traditional way of teaching Biology. The researcher has developed a set of tools and materials that were represented in an achievement test consisted of (20) paragraphs, a trend gauge consisted of (19)paragraphs, and allocating a website on Edmodo network that includes an e-lesson, an assignment, a test, and activities that have been designed by the researcher. To analyze data, the study used Cranach's alpha reliability coefficient, averages, standard deviations, and t-test of independent and interconnected groups, and ETA test. The study concluded the following results: There are statistically significant differences between the average of the experimental and control groups in the achievement through long distance at the remembering level, in favor of the control group. There are no statistically significant differences between the average of the experimental and control groups in the achievement through long distance at the understanding level. There are no statistically significant differences between the average of the experimental and control groups in the overall achievement through long distance. There are statistically significant differences between the average of the trend scale before and after for the benefit of the experimental group. (Published abstract)
