This study explores the effectiveness of a training counseling program for developing emotional intelligence for a sample in tenth grade. The sample group of this study is consisted of 50 students and develops an instrument, to measure the skills of emotional intelligence, in addition, develops a training course and applies it to the members of the experimental group. In the results appeared, while as the study shows that there are some statistical differences between the experimental and control groups on behalf of the former in terms of emotional intelligence, due to the training course. The study shows also that there are no differences of any statistical value between the two groups' levels of emotional intelligence due to students' gender. (Published Abstract)
