The study aimed to identify the degree of appreciation of the faculty members in Palestinian universities for the obstacles of employing the results of the university scientific research in shaping the Palestinian political decision, and to find out wherever there are statistically significant differences between the average of their degrees due to the following variables: (Organizational support, years of service, academic level). To achieve this, the researcher followed the descriptive/ analytical approach by applying a questionnaire consisting of (30) paragraphs divided into three fields on a sample of (160) members of the teaching staff from (Al-Azhar, Islamic and Al-Aqsa) universities. The results shown that all fields are available with relative weight (76.30%). The level of political obstacles in the first rank came at a relative weight of 80.33%, followed by administrative and organizational obstacles in the second rank with a relative weight of 74.53%, followed by scientific obstacles in the third rank with relative weight (74.04%). There were no statistically significant differences between the average scores of the maximum individuals of the constraints attributed to all the variables. The study recommended the need to develop a general perception of the excellence of research in (political science) of government agencies aimed at rooting relevant research and linking them to international policies in a legal framework.
