The present study aimed to identify the level of job satisfaction among secondary school teachers in the light of the specific factors related to the teacher himself,to work and to the work environment and examines the significance of differences in this area according to the variablesof sex and professional experience, and by using the descriptive analytical approach as an appropriate approach for this kind of studies, and the application of the job satisfaction measure prepared by the researchers in view the psychological heritage on a sample composed of 68 secondary school teachers. The results showed the following: 1) The presence of a high level of job satisfaction among secondary school teachers in light of their specific factors. 2) The presence of a high level of job satisfaction among secondary school teachers in light of the specific factors related to work. 3) The existence of the average level of job satisfaction among secondary school teachers in light of the factors related to the work environment. 4) The lack of statistically significant differences between secondary school teachers in the level of job satisfaction according to the variable of sex. 5) The presence of statistically significant differences between secondary school teachers in the level of job satisfaction according to the variable of professional experience. The Results were interpreted in light of previous studies, and the study was finally culminated in a set of proposals and recommendations. (Published Abstract)
