This study aimed at developing the active learning program for building the personality and measuring its effectiveness in developing the positive thinking, and of the sevenths grade students in Amman area. The researcher has applied random sampling approach. The study sample consisted of students of seventh grade from Itehad Schools in Arjan area- Amman governorate. The sample consisted of (70) male and female students, and it was divided into two groups: a control group and an experimental group distributed as follows: (17) Males for the control group pretest Tartest, Retest (17) males for control group post test, (13) males for experimental group pretest tartest, Retest (23) males for the experimental group post test, Self Control, Positive Thinking, and Creative Feeling measurements have been distributed after verification of the study tool’s validity and reliability. After that we constructed the active learning program for the personality development in (32) sessions (45) minutes each. We also applied the program on the experimental group, (4) sessions for the females and (3) sessions for the males, the program lasted for (8) weeks i,e, two consecutive months. After application of the program a post test measurement has been made for both groups (the control group and the experimental group) on the study’s measurement the study showed the following results: 1) There are no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≤0.05) between the averages of the scores of the early adolescence stage students in the experimental and control groups in the creative thinking posttest attributed to using the training program for the active learning. 2) There are no statistically significant differences at the significance level (α≤0.05) in the level of the development of positive thinking posttest attributed to the reaction between the variables of the program and gender . In the light of the results of the current study , the researcher recommends to conduct more relative studies to trace the level of self control and the positive thinking at the early adolescence students in Amman , and to involve the male and female teachers in the training courses related to the self-control and the positive thinking and the early adolescence students, and to identify the most important developments in the learning stratifies that relate to developing and constructing the personality (strategies of the active learning).
