The effectiveness of both the tablet and computer in the development of skills to prepare for reading in children with mild of intellectual disability [Article]
The study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of two training programs, one computer and the other using a Tablet PC in the development of readiness skills for reading in children with mild of intellectual disability, study sample consisted of 18 boys and girls between the ages of time between 8.5 - 10.67, and the coefficient of intelligence 50-70 degrees , was the study sample was divided into three groups, the first edition experimental group (6) children received training using the computer, pilot a second set of (6) children received training using a Tablet PC, and a control group and the number (6) children did not receive any training, which included tools. The study on the test drawing man Jodanv Harris, a measure of socioeconomic level of the person (2006), a measure of adaptive behavior (1998), prepare for the reading test (prepared by the researcher), and adopted a researcher at the quasi-experimental method, and using the test Willcoxon of samples associated with, and test Kruskal Wallis K and Mann Whitney test for independent samples. And it reached the most important results to the existence of differences between the two applications for pre and post experimental groups in the direction of the dimensional application, as well as the existence of differences between the two experimental groups in the post the application in the direction of the experimental group that used the tablet.
