This study aimed to identify the level of computer anxiety among teachers and their attitudes toward the use of modern computer applications in teaching using The Computer Attitude and Anxiety Scale. Moreover, the study aimed to identify the relationship between the level of anxiety among teachers in using modern computer applications in teaching and some demographic variables (e.g., years of teaching experience, scientific discipline, and educational level of the teacher). This study has adopted the descriptive survey method and used descriptive statistics and correlations to measure attitudes and the amount of anxiety from the use of modern computer applications. The survey was used to collect study data. The study population consisted of all teachers in the city of Riyadh, who worked in the field of public education. Six schools were randomly selected as a sample containing 110 teachers. The study sample included 30 teachers from primary schools, and 35 teachers were from middle schools school, 45 teachers were from secondary schools. The study results showed that teachers showed moderate confidence in their ability to use modern computer applications. in addition, they exhibited moderate level of desire to use modern computer software, as well as a moderate sense of usefulness of modern computer applications. Yet, teachers illustrated only a slight amount of anxiety from the use of modern computer applications in education. The results revealed a moderate correlation between teacher's age and level of computer anxiety, as well as a week correlation between years of teaching experience and computer anxiety, as well as a weak correlation between teachers' educational level and the their perceived usefulness of modern computer applications in teaching. The study concluded with a number of recommendations related to its results. (Published Abstract)
