The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of using the flipped learning strategy on the academic achievement and the survival of the learning effect of the students studying academic and life skills course (105 act) in Shaqra University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. To answer study questions and hypotheses, the study was applied to a sample of (50) students, they were divided into two groups: an experimental group taught using the flipped learning strategy, and a control group taught using the traditional way (the lecture). After making sure that two study groups are equal and conduct the study, the post-application for the academic achievement was applied to the two groups the control and the experimental group. Then the same academic achievement test was re-applied to the experimental group after two weeks of post-application to ensure that the survival of learning effect or not, and to confirm the validity of the study hypotheses, the T-test was used on two separate groups and two related groups. The results of the study showed that there were significant statistical differences between the arithmetic means of the students' grades of the experimental group and the control group in the post-academic achievement test in favor of the experimental group, which confirms the effectiveness of the flipped learning strategy in academic achievement. Also, the results of the study revealed the absence of statistically significant differences between the arithmetic averages of the students ’degrees in the experimental group in the post-test and the postponed test, which confirms the effectiveness of the flipped learning strategy on learning effect remains for a longer period. The study concluded several recommendations: attention should be given to the use of the flipped learning strategy in teaching scientific subjects in universities and organizing workshops and training courses for faculty members to use the flipped learning strategy in university teaching.
