هدفت الدراسة إلى التعرف على المفاهيم الأمنية المتضمنة في كتابي التربية الوطنية والمدنية للصفين السادس، والسابع الأساسيين في المملكة الأردنية الهاشمية، ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة تمّ استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لرصد المفاهيم الأمنية المتضمنة في كتابي التربية الوطنية والمدنية في الفصل الأول من العام الدراسي (2017-2018)، وتمّ استخدام أداة للتحليل تضمنت أربعة مجالات رئيسة هي: مفاهيم (الأمن الوطني، الأمن الفكري، والأمن البيئي والصحي، والأمن الاقتصادي)، واندرج تحتها مجموعة من المفاهيم الأمنية الفرعية. وشكلت مجموع المفاهيم الأمنية المتضمنة في كتاب الصف السادس (178) مفهوما، كما بلغت مجموع المفاهيم الأمنية المتضمنة في كتاب الصف السابع الأساسي ما مجموعه (204) مفاهيم. كما أشارت نتائج تحليل كتاب الصف السادس الأساسي أن مفاهيم الأمن الوطني جاءت موزعة على جميع وحدات الكتاب الدراسي مع اختلاف الأوزان النسبية بينها، والتي تراوحت ما بين (30.3%-21.9%). كما توصلت النتائج أيضا إلى وجود فروق بين تكرار المفاهيم الأمنية في كتابي الصفين السادس، والسابع الأساسيين، لصالح الصف السابع الأساسي، بعد حساب قيمة مربع (كاي) التي بلغت (X²) = (61.08). وبناء على ذلك أوصت الدراسة بضرورة إدراج وحدات دراسية خاصة تُبرز أهمية الوعي الأمني، والوطني، والفكري للطالب بصورة خاصة، والدور الكبير الملقى على عاتقه في رفعة الوطن والمحافظة على مقدراته، كما أوصت بإجراء دراسات أخرى تبيّن دور وفاعلية الكتب المدرسية في زيادة الوعي الوطني لدى الطلبة على اختلاف مراحلهم الدراسية. The study aimed to identify the security concepts included in the national and civic education books of the sixth and seventh grades of the Hashemite kingdom of Jordan. In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the descriptive analytical approach to analyzed and monitored the concepts of security, in the first semester of the year (2017-2018),which were divided into four main areas: (national security, intellectual security, environmental and health security, economic security) and sub concepts. The total number of security concepts included in the sixth grade book (178) concepts. The total number of security concepts included in the seventh-grade book has also reached a total of (204) concepts. The results of the sixth grade book analysis indicated that the concepts of national security were distributed to all units the textbook with different relative weights, which ranged from (30.3% - 21.9%). The results also found differences between the repetition of security concepts in the sixth and seventh grades of the core, in favor of the seventh grade, after calculating the value of the kai box that reached (²x) = (61.08). Accordingly, the study recommended that special study modules should be included highlighting the importance of the security awareness, the national and the intellectual role of the student in particular and the large it is incumbent upon him to raise the country and maintain its capacity and to conduct further studies that demonstrate the role and effectiveness of textbooks in raising national awareness students have different grades.
